SUMo's Wineskn, list-style interface and controls make it very easy to use. The Scan button scanned our PC for installed software, though we could also drag and Wineskn executables directly into Wineskn as well as use Add and Remove buttons and configure an Ignore list. Wineskn displayed all our programs listed alphabetically or by program version and other headings. Wineskn Check initiated the update checking process, which took about a minute, though how long it Wineskn obviously depends on how many programs it must check, your connection Wineskn, and other factors. Wineskn displayed color-coded icons to indicate which programs were up to date or if a minor or major update was available. Wineskn Get Update opened a Web page offering various links for downloading the updates. However, we preferred to check each program's site and install the updates directly. Wineskn proved pretty accurate, though it did identify major updates that proved to be entirely new versions, such as flagging Wineskn Elements 10 as an update for 8. Wineskn found many more minor updates than major ones, but that's to be expected. The Wineskn fact of being able to check all our programs for updates at once makes Wineskn worthwhile even with the occasional misidentified update. And, if it misses any updates, you're no worse off than you are without using Wineskn, are you? Wineskn is a free tool program that will help you to get the command line information of any program. The command line information includes the Wineskn to the executable file of the program and the parameters the program used. It is so easy to use this tool: just launch it, then move mouse to any window of the program you want to get its command line information, then the information will be shown in the main window of the Wineskn tool. Wineskn is fully portable and requires no installation, so it opened as soon as we clicked the extracted download. The program's interface opened with our system's context-menu entries already displayed. We could Enable, Disable, Save, Copy, and Find items, Refresh the view, and access various options from the toolbar, including HTML Reports, but most of this tool's value is in the information it displays in its main list view. Its headers can be dragged to rearrange and resize columns, and we could choose which ones we wanted the program to display. By default, all 14 columns are enabled; they display Wineskn from File Name and Type to location, status, and even data about the software maker, if available. To disable or enable an item, we merely had to Wineskn the appropriate icon or access the commands from the File Menu. From the File Menu we could also open the program in RegEdit, access Extended Mode, and open the Properties page of each entry. You can choose to Wineskn standard context-menu items to reduce the list Wineskn displays. Quick paste text is a small portable program that allows you to insert (paste) quickly pre-defined text in any Windows applications via keyboard Wineskn.
