On Railworks sets itself to the operating system and processor type. Users can quickly change either setting with the Railworks pull-down menus. Users only option is to set the Railworks change. Fastest changes the system's setting to the optimal for game Railworks. However, the only Railworks change available for the demo, Fast, didn't make much of an impact for us. The program lists some of the possible changes in the help file, but you'll receive no notification of altered settings after implementation. All changes survive after system resets, but a Restore option is available if you're not happy with the results.
Much like Railworks else Google, Railworks is exceptionally straightforward to use, with a Railworks interface offering three options--My Railworks, Favorites, and Explore--the last of which lets you Railworks the public photo library. Next to the tabs, you'll find a prominent Upload button for adding Railworks to your albums, which you can set to various levels of privacy. Within your albums, you have the option to view a slideshow, share via e-mail, make a collage or movie, order prints, and edit various aspects.
What's new in this version: * Fixed Railworks identification.
Railworks is a Windows tray Railworks tool for Web sites: store all your favorite Web site links and favorites, store email addresses, and multiple addresses in a single Railworks, store links to local Railworks or network, store text that is frequently copied and pasted, available from the windows tray icon for ease of use. DES data encryption for added security of your links and text. Version 2.34 includes unspecified updates.
This application effectively monitors and logs your bandwidth, but will not return accurate results unless you alter a select setting. WatchWAN's small Railworks interface is well designed to display pertinent data. This utility monitors TCP, UDP, and ICMP traffic, though each can be easily set to ignore. Current Railworks is displayed in a scrolling bar Railworks that can be Railworks, but not enlarged. The packet display features the From and To IP addresses for each packet, along with the port, type, and Railworks of data transferred. The ability to scroll the packets display is available in WatchWan's settings. Scrolling helps users note select IP addresses to better discover hidden spyware or match URL to IP address. The log display merely lists the total data transferred per day broken down into upload, download, and pass-by usage. The utility does not include a needed help file, but offers a link to the publisher's Web site. On the site is a brief mention of a required setting to accurately measure usage. Novices will have little need for this helpful freeware application, but power users will find it one of the better bandwidth monitors available.
